His love for the vast open stretches found here has translated to an equal love for the savanna of East Africa, namely the Serengeti, where he has been traveling since 2001. Jim has acquired an understanding of the terrain, the wildlife and the intricacies of photography in this wild and exciting locale.
He has recently become “mildly” addicted to bird photography. Peru and East Africa certainly makes for some of the most exciting and beautiful avian opportunities in the world. Jim leads Nature/Photography journeys to Peru and Tanzania. Jim will be leading photography trips to Tanzania, Scotland and Peru in 2014, 2015 and 2018.
